    Default "Safe Place" checkbox.

So we use the option to nominate a Safe Place for orders, which it seems every other customer uses. What we'd like is for a checkbox to appear if the customer chooses this option: "We will not be held responsible if the 300 worth of stuff you asked to be left on your doorstep goes missing". Im paraphrasing of course, but only slightly....
We have this in our terms anyway, but getting them to actually tick a box stating that they clearly accept this would save an awful lot of arguing later on.
    Any suggestion?

Can you use an 'Addition' tick box, we use it for when we are on holiday to say the order will be dispatched when we get back, seem to work for us

This could be an interesting one when every courier and delivery company that YOU choose to send by is using hands off delivery. I haven't found one that is operating with signatures yet. Understandable why.... at least most people are at home to take delivery.

Why interesting Neil? Our courier has the deliverer sign their own name and take a photo of the parcel if left in a safe place.
The aim is simply to reiterate to the customer that the liability is passed to them if they choose to have it left.

Which courier is that? Because we have virtually every courier on site every day and no one has signed for at least a month.... all been hands off and just left.
