    Default Customer Ticketing System

    For many years we've used the "write it down on a bit of paper and pin it to the wall" system of dealing with customers inquiries, when folk call up or email. We're now looking for a system where a ticket can be raised and actions logged, so that whoever happens to answer the phone next can check up on whats been done.

    Can anyone suggest anything? The major issue we've found is that they all seem to offer waaaaaaay much more functionality than we need, so anything simple would be great. Free or cheap is a bonus.

    I don't know much about this but we use www.tawk.to most for for chat and they seem to have this ticketing functionality although we dont use that part of it, perhaps have a look. Its free so nothing lost!

    You have to put in a little work to set it up to how you want, but it is as simple and complex as you need it.

    We have been using it since it was in Beta and the development has been phenomenal, we are using it essentially as a mini ERP system now but you can just setup a ticketing module with automated features and reporting etc

    They have a free module that has some limited functionality (more than enough for ticketing etc I would assume), and then its only $10/month per creator. You can share it with your team/customers etc for free.

    Zendesk is quite a popular one I know a few people who use it.
