Is there any way of seeing how many of an item have been sold within a given period? This info is visible when placing a purchase order, but I can't find a way of viewing it anywhere else.
Cheers,
Tom

We'd like to know this too, as it is useful to know. (We don't use the purchase orders section).
If you go to Orders>Sales statistics you can see Top sellers/Turnover and Top sellers/Units for either (1) Full year (2) Particular month (3) H1/H2 (4) Q1,2,3,4
You can't enter specifc dates (I don't think) but it gives useful info.
Unfortunately we have a couple of thousand items, so the top 100 is next to useless. It annoying as I know the data is there (can be seen when placing a purchase order) but can't get to it anywhere else.
We're the same as tomtomg. The top 100 stats mean many items are missed out, so you don't get true figures. The only way round it (but is long winded and a total pain), but we only do for occasionally items, is put the sku into the all sales search box. It is a pain when someone orders more than one, so sometimes every order needs to be checked to verify numbers.
Another way of getting at the data, and I know it's a bit of a pain, would be to export the orders to csv. Import into Excel and play around with the data by sorting by SKU etc.
