    Default Gmail not receiving emails

    We've had issues before where emails sent from our bluepark websites are getting put in junk/spam folders by gmail, so we put notes on our confirmation page and contact pages saying we have issues with gmail and to whitelist us.

    But in the last few weeks we've had 2 people that insist they're checking both spam and junk mail folders but are not seeing our emails at all. We had to communicate with one via a trustpilot review and the other though the public comments in the order status!

    Does anyone have any idea why our emails are apparently not even getting to junk/spam, and is anyone else seeing the same thing?

    It’s a pain I know but there could be so many reasons why these couple of people are having problems and none of them are under your control. If the email addresses are invalid they would get returned. However, if they misspelt their email address it could be in use by someone else who have received the emails and deleted them. Have these couple of people got filters setup, are they looking in inbox and not all mail, have they deleted it and cleared trash without realising etc etc etc

    Personally I’d try not to worry too much about it. Just make sure there are different ways for customers to contact you via phone, online chat, twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp etc etc etc.

    It's possible that they have provided an incorrect email address, one that still works but is not correct.

    Quite a few people never actually check their spam folders, some do not know how to find their spam folder.

    We've had a few instances of "missing" messages, but it has always turned out to be one of the above - usually the first one.

    I'm having issues with gmail, every order that is placed with a gmail address is coming back with

    This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

    A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error

    the odd one you would say was an issue with their email but this is every gmail order - anyone else noticed this?
