    Default Google Customer Reviews Badge

Is there a way to display the Google Customer Reviews badge on the mobile view?

Set up the code and it works fine on the desktop but does not appear when viewed on a tablet or a mobile. Google help pages weren't much help and did seem to indicate the badge will not display on either of these devices, which seems a bit silly given that most websites are viewed on some kind of mobile device now.

We tried setting it up as a static image on the mobile footer, but that didn't work either.

Unfortunately Google have intended this behaviour by design for whatever reason?! And because it is an iFrame, you have zero control overriding this.

A hacky way of getting around it would be to take a screen grab, load it into an art package, crop around the review badge and save it as a JPEG or PNG.

You could then insert this image along with the relative href link (so that it links to the review page as per the official desktop badge) and insert this into your mobile template footer.

Obviously this still won't display on tablets and there is another way, but it requires some coding knowledge. Basically you create a line of HTML that includes the href & image, insert this into the body code and then position it with CSS's 'static' positioning so that it sits in exactly the same place as the official badge. This will now sit underneath the official badge and therefore not be seen until the point when the official badge decides not to display.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Michelle,

It's very easy to do!! Basically you just need to copy & paste some code, then just add your Google merchant ID to it - instructions are here:
    https://support.google.com/merchants...hl=en-GB#badge

This code needs to be pasted into the closing body section of your site. To do this, within the admin console navigate to 'Template Editor', then within the 'Pages' tab scroll down to 'Closing body' and paste the code into the box - that should be it!!
