The True BusinessID with EV (Extended Validation) certificate turns the Address Bar of your customer's browser green when viewing encrypted pages, visually confirming the highest level of authentication available. Through SSL encryption, the certificate ensures that information is kept private between your web server and your customer's web browser.
GeoTrust's SSL certificates are 256-bit encryption enabled and boast the highest level of browser compatibility in the industry. The certificate may be reissued an unlimited number of times throughout its lifespan and may be purchased for a duration of either 1 or 2 years. Your company name will be displayed prominently in the green Address Bar:
Only registered legal entities may take advantage of Extended Validation SSL certificates. In the UK, that means you will need to be a limited company (either Ltd or PLC) or a registered partnership (LLP). Individuals (sole traders) cannot order EV SSL certificates at this time.
Due to the level of authentication required, an EV SSL certificate may be issued up to 10 days after completing the enrollment procedure. The installation will be conducted by Bluepark on your behalf. Delays in issuance will be caused if your domain registration details do not accurately reflect your registered company name.
