Properties

The Properties tab allows you to assign a name to your Affiliate. You should also specify the Referring Domain, the site from which the Affiliate is linking to you.

An Affiliate campaign must have a Start date from which the campaign becomes active. Optionally, the campaign may also have a Finish date after which commission will no longer be applied.

The Commission Rate is an optional percentage of the turnover generated by sales conversions, you are able to specify how the turnover figure should be calculated. As your Affiliates are effectively invoicing you for their services, it may be necessary to add VAT to the commission payments you issue.

Commission can be set as being payable on a customer's first order only, otherwise follow-up purchases will also qualify. The period during which purchases will qualify can be selected from a range of different options.

Customers connecting via an Affiliate link may be served with an alternative Theme to reflect different branding. If you assign a Coupon-based discount, the Coupon will automatically be applied when a customer connects, using an Affiliate link, for the first time.

The Affiliate may require you to include some lines of Conversion Code, usually JavaScript, indicating that a successful payment has been made and potentially providing additional functionality.

In order to make the job of creating Affiliate links easier, you are able to enter a URL relating to your site, along with any optional referral information.

Account

The Account tab enables you to assign a unique email address and password to the Affiliate's account. These details may be used by the Affiliate to access activity reports relating to their campaign, along with optional downloads.

Downloads

The Downloads tab enables you to assign various files to the Affiliate's account, such as advertising banners for use with their campaign.

Statistics

The Statistics tab enables you to measure the performance of your Affiliate. If you view the full calendar year, you are able to assign commission payments to each month which may optionally trigger an accompanying email notification of each payment.
